The association “Tavi draugi” (Your friends) will provide food parcels to families of Ukrainian civilians with children in September, Latvian Radio reported on September 1.

The packages can be received at Ventspils Street 50, Rīga, by presenting a passport with an entry in it regarding the existence of children and their number in the family.

The association's spokeswoman, Monta Vecozola, said: "It is like a one-off aid, just in September, in the context of starting school and kindergarten. Let us try to see how we will do it further, whether we can extend it and add other risk groups, or it will conclude in September."

The content of the packages will consist of donations from several entrepreneurs, companies, and the public, which will then be distributed proportionally.
