There will be no significant change in the air temperature in Latvia throughout this week and into the next working week.
Afternoons will reach a maximum temperature of 23-29 C, while nights will become colder over the weekend.
Temperatures will drop to 11-18 C overnight on Thursday, and 7-13 C over the weekend, with only a few coastal spots not getting colder than 14-17 C.
Fog will be frequent at night and in the mornings, but no precipitation is expected.
New local date-specific heat records will continue to be set in many parts of Latvia over the coming days, with national records possible again on Sunday and at the start of the new week.
The meteorological summer lasts as long as the average daily temperature remains above 15 degrees. This is forecast to remain the case until the middle of the month.
