Skies will be mostly clear, with a gentle south-easterly breeze. Fog will develop overnight and in the mornings.
The minimum air temperature will be +10 C to +16 C at night, in Vidzeme and Latgale +7 C to +9 C. In the afternoons temperatures will range between +23 to +28 C.
Monday and Tuesday will be sunny and dry, +9C to +16 C at night and +23 C to +29 C in the afternoons.
On Wednesday, an Atlantic cyclone will approach our region, bringing rain clouds. Current forecasts show showers and a slight drop in temperatures in many parts of Latvia on Wednesday and Thursday, followed by a return to warmer and drier weather soon after.
The forecast is therefore still predicting that the meteorological summer will continue at least until mid-September.
The meteorological summer lasts as long as the average daily temperature remains stable above 15 degrees.
