No significant changes are expected in the next two days. On Thursday and Friday, the weather will be mostly sunny, with localized rain and thunderstorm clouds. Fog will be present at night and in the mornings in many places.
The minimum air temperature will be +10 C to +15 C at night, warmer along the coast, while during the day it will warm up to +23 C to +27 C, cooler in many places along the coast.
Saturday and Sunday will see less sun and more clouds, with rain expected at times and westerly winds gusting up to 10-15 meters per second. It will also get colder. Maximum temperatures will be in the range of 19-24 degrees on Saturday and 17-22 degrees on Sunday.
Moderate warmth will prevail in Latvia at the beginning of the new week, while a sultry air mass will arrive from southwest Europe in the middle of the week. Temperatures will be around 30 degrees already on Wednesday. It is too early to predict how long the heat will last and what the temperatures will be like during the hottest moments, but the most likely scenarios are for a 2-3 day heatwave with maximum temperatures just above 30 degrees.
Thunderstorm clouds may form in the heat and locally bring strong winds, heavy rain, and hail.
