Weather in Latvia will remain warm all week

The weather in Latvia is forecast to turn slightly cooler in the coming days, with rain falling at times, but still summery warm, according to weatherman Toms Bricis.

On Tuesday night, clouds and rain are expected in Kurzeme, but rain clouds will slowly spread further east during the day, reaching Zemgale and western Vidzeme, including Riga, by evening.

The minimum air temperature on Tuesday night will be +10 C to +16 C, and in eastern parts of the country to +8 C to +9 C.

Tuesday will be noticeably cooler in Kurzeme, with mostly cloudy skies and occasional showers, with temperatures reaching +16 C to +19 C, and +20 C to +25 C in the rest of the country.

On Wednesday and Thursday, there will be brief showers in places, but the sun will also come out. Temperatures will be in the range of +10 C to +16 C at night and +18 C to +24 C in the afternoons.

At the weekend, a warmer air mass will again flow into Latvia with south-easterly winds, causing temperatures to rise to +20 C to +25 C in the afternoons, even +26 C to +28 C in the east.
