On Thursday, in eastern Vidzeme and Latgale, the air temperature will be in the range of 0 to +2 C at night and during the day, rain and wet snow are expected, and a light layer of snow will start to form during the day.
In the rest of the country, temperatures will be in the range of +3 C to +8 C, with occasional rain.
On Friday night, the sky will clear in many places, so temperatures will drop to -3 C to +2 C, warmer on the coast. Roads will be icy in many places, especially in Vidzeme and Latgale.

Snow will melt in eastern Latvia on Friday, with temperatures ranging from +3 C to +4 C in eastern Vidzeme and Latgale to +5 C to +9 C in the rest of the country.
On Saturday, the weather will become windier, with south-westerly, westerly wind gusts of 15-19 meters per second on the coast, warmer air will flow into our region, with daytime temperatures reaching +7 C to +11 C. In some parts of Latvia, it is likely to be the warmest November 16 since meteorological observations have been made.
Current forecasts suggest that it will rain at times on November 18, Latvia's Independence Day, but the sun may shine in some places. Temperatures will be in the range of +4 C to +9 C.
