A video showing the destruction of a solar panel park in Olaine late Saturday night by a tornado gained popularity on social media.

Speaking to news agency LETA, Ģirts Batrags, the executive director of the Olaine municipality, declined to comment on the extent of the damage to the solar panel park, as it is not municipal property.
According to Batargs, the damage caused by the storm is unlikely to be too severe. So far, several trees and houses have been damaged.
