Week will start hot in Latvia

The third week of September will continue to be summery warm in Latvia, according to forecasts by the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Center.

The working week in Latvia will start with a hot day, with cooler weather only along the coast. Monday and Tuesday will be sunny and dry across the country, with partly cloudy skies in the west in the morning. A gentle easterly wind will blow. Nighttime temperatures will be +11 C to +16 C, daytime +22 to +27 C, in Kurzeme, on the coast of the Gulf of Riga, around +20 C.

Clouds will gradually decrease and no precipitation is expected. Winds will be light over most of the country.

In the middle of the week, the weather will remain dry and warm. At night, temperatures will remain above +10 C. However, daytime temperatures will drop slightly, with +17 C to +22 C, up to +24 degrees in the south.

The current forecast is for calm weather over the weekend, with no significant precipitation expected, but the days will get slightly cooler, at around +20 C in many places.
