Precipitation is not expected and the sun will shine frequently. Fog will form at night and in the mornings in places, mainly in the east of the country.
Slow to moderate, gusty south-easterly, southerly winds are expected in Kurzeme.
Minimum temperatures will range from -2 C to +2 C in eastern Latvia, +4 C to +7 C in central and western Latvia. In the afternoons the air temperatures will be +10 C to +14 C.
Early next week, skies will often be cloudy, with light rain possible on Tuesday and Wednesday. Winds will come from the southwest and west and gust at times. The weather will even get a little warmer, with no frosts at night and temperatures reaching +11-16 C on Tuesday afternoon.
Longer-term forecasts still show that the first snow in October is unlikely.
