Tuesday will be dry across the country, with temperatures reaching +20 to 25 C, +22 to +27 C on Wednesday, but in the afternoon Latvia will be hit by a wide area of precipitation from the west, so rain is expected in Kurzeme on Wednesday afternoon and in central Latvia in the evening, with heavy thundershowers in places, continuing into the night on Thursday.
Thursday will be cooler, with a maximum temperature of +18 C to +23 C, with showers in places, but Friday and Saturday will be without precipitation, sunny, temperatures will rise to +20 to +25 C on Friday and +24 to +29 C on Saturday.
A cold front will approach Latvia on Sunday, but current forecasts are still variable as to when it will arrive. It is possible that the front will not start crossing Latvia until Sunday afternoon, in which case temperatures could still reach +25 C to +30 C in most of the country, but if it arrives earlier, Sunday could be much cooler, rainy, and windy.
