On Thursday, most of the country will experience showers and thundershowers, with clearing skies at times. There will be a slow to moderate south-westerly wind, with maximum temperatures of +17 C to +22 C.
On Friday, clouds will partly cover the sky and showers are expected in places, with south-westerly wind gusts up to 16 meters per second along the coast. Air temperatures will stay above +10 degrees at night and reach +19 C to +24 C during the day.
According to current forecasts, Saturday and Sunday will be dry and sunny in Latvia, with moderate winds from the southwest. Air temperatures will rise and are likely to reach +30 C in many places on Sunday, with nights at +13 C to +19 C.
The heat is expected to recede on Monday, but the week ahead is likely to be generally warm, with frequent sunshine.
