A warm Easter to follow a cold week

Latvia is in for a cold week before warmth will finally set in on Easter, reports LSM's weather man Toms Bricis.

On Monday and Tuesday it will be cloudy in places, with daytime temperatures of +1..+6C prevailing over most of the country and plunging to -1..-5C at night. 

While on Wednesday and Thursday the sun will shine with air temperatures dropping considerably at night to -1..-6C and -7..-12C in parts of Vidzeme and Latgale.

On Friday warm air masses will move into Latvia with temperatures reaching +4..+9C accompanied by clouds and rain, while on Saturday and Sunday temperatures are expected to pass over +10C and on March 27 reaching +15C for the first time this year.
