The rest of the day will be mostly sunny, but in Kurzeme and Vidzeme there will be more clouds and a little snow at times. Though a light sprinkling of snow may stay on the ground a while, no significant layer will build up.
Daytime maximum air temperatures will be from -1 C to +4 C, with Rīga expected to stay just above freezing point.
On Monday night and Tuesday morning, snowfall will be more widespread, particularly in eastern districts, and a thin layer may form, but near the coast, precipitation is more likely to fall as sleet or rain than snow.
From the middle of the week it will get warmer again, weatherman Toms Bricis says, and by Thursday afternoon temperatures as high as +8 C may be possible. At the weekend the temperature will drop slightly once more and both rain and snow will be more frequent.
Nākamnedēļ bieži gaidāmi nokrišņi, daudzviet arī slapjš sniegs un sniegs.
