According to LSM's weather guru Toms Bricis, Monday will be warm but windy, after which it will become much colder, but the weekend will return to spring warmth.
From Tuesday until Thursday cool weather will dominate across the country with night-time temperatures falling as low as -6 C, while daytime temperatures will be in the range of +2 to +8 C. Wednesday and Thursday are both expected to bring a rain and perhaps even sleet.
On Friday evening winds from the south and south-west will bring in warmer and more humid air and temperatures may nudge up to +10 C.
However, the weekend will see a notable improvement with temperatures climbing to +15 C during the day and remaining well above freezing at night in the range of +3 to +9 C.
