On Monday and Tuesday weather systems bringing rain and snow will be crossing Latvia, with some rain in Vidzeme and Latgale, especially on the afternoon.
On the night to Tuesday rain and snow is expected in Vidzeme, Latgale and Zemgale, while in the morning the precipitation will move west to Kurzeme, Zemgale and the westernmost regions of Vidzeme.
On Tuesday a blanket of snow of a few centimeters is expected to fall on parts of Zemgale and Kurzeme.
Temperatures will reach +2..+7C Monday and Tuesday.
The latter half of the week however will see precipitation stop and daytime temperatures rise to +3..+8C, starting from Thursday. Rain is expected to subside by Thursday morning, and there's a chance that the weekend will be dry and sunny.
Temperatures at night are expected to be around 0..+5C, and -1..-3C on the weekend.
