On Wednesday and Thursday morning, in Vidzeme and Latgale, temperatures will mostly be between -17 C and -12 C, in some places even as low as -22 C. In Kurzeme, Rīga and Zemgale, it will not be as cold but still frosty at -11 C to -6 C.
Wednesday and Thursday mornings will thus be among the coldest this warm winter. The sky will be clear and sunny.
Over the weekend the temperature will rise above zero in the afternoons again.
