The record high for the whole of Latvia on November 19 is 11.9 degrees, recorded in 1978, while last year the air temperature was also very warm at 11.7 degrees.
The sky will be mostly cloudy, in many places there will be fog and drizzle. In the evening it will rain in most of the country, with heaviest rainfall in Vidzeme and Latgale regions.
A slow to moderate western, southwestern wind will blow, intensifying considerably in the evening. Westerly and northwesterly gusts of up to 16-22 meters per second are expected overnight, and could even reach up to 26 meters per second on the coast. Such winds can break branches from trees and cause other damage.
