Warm weather to persist until mid-November in Latvia

Warm weather in Latvia will continue until at least mid-November, according to current forecasts by weatherman Toms Bricis.

Saturday morning will be frosty, and the temperature will drop to -3 C in the east but in the rest of the country between +1 C and +6 C. Rain is expected in Kurzeme and later in the afternoon in the central part of the country, the air temperatures will be between +5 C and +10 C, in the east +3 C to +4 C.

On the night to Sunday, wet snow and ice could appear in Vidzeme with the air temperature around zero, but in the rest of the country it will be +3 C to +8 C. It will only rain in the east of Latvia. Air temperatures will range between +6 C and +11 C.

Next week, south-west, west winds will blow and bring rain, but the weather will be warm. Temperatures at nights will be mostly +2 C to +9 C, during the days +5 C to +10 C.

In the middle of the month, anticyclones will strengthen in our region, weather will become drier, temperatures will fall as the sky clears, but weather is likely to remain warmer than mid-November's climate norm.
