Take note – story published 5 years ago

The second half of the week here in Latvia will become sunnier and warmer than the first, but the temperature will fall again from Sunday, according to forecasts.

The rain which has been falling on Monday and Tuesday will gradually disperse, though thunderstorms could occasionally bring more rain as temperaures increase.

The temperature on Thursday will reach +20 to + 25 degrees Celsius, on Friday it will warm up even a few degrees more, but Saturday will be the warmest day of this week, with temperatures of +23 to + 28 degrees C expected. That's good news for the Riga City Festival which takes place over the weekend.

However, Sunday will see the wind turn to come from the southwest and west bringing cooler air to us, and clouds will gather afresh with temperatures considerable cooler, in the range of +17 to + 22 C.
