Warmish, wettish week awaits

This week the weather in Latvia will see temperatures regularly exceeding + 20 Celsius, but there will also continue to be a good amount of cloud and rain, according to the latest forecasts from the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Center (LVĢMC).

Monday will likely be the best of the week, with dry and sunny weather. On Tuesday clouds will form locally, but on Wednesday a large precipitation zone will cross Latvia and rain is expected throughout the country.

On Thursday  and Friday, the sky will be obscured from time to time by clouds and the rain is most likely to be in the central and western parts of the country, but precipitation will be mostly temporary.

The air temperature during the day will be in the range of + 20 C to + 25 C in many places for much of the week, a degree or two cooler along the coast.

The current forecast shows that no significant changes in weather conditions are expected next weekend. Precipitation is possible locally, but the temperature during the day in most parts of the country will rise above + 20 C.
