In the morning in the central and eastern part of the country is experiencing blizzards, but the snow will soon turn to rain. There will be difficult driving conditions, with snow and ice melting added to rain which will form large puddles on road surfaces.
Southerly and southwesterly winds will blow with gusts of 11-16 meters per second in much of the country, though by the coast the wind will be stronger – around 25 meters per second. Such winds can cause damage to trees and power lines.
The maximum air temperature will range from +1 Celsius to +6 Celsius, though the wind will make it feel colder.
