It will rain often this week, and will become noticeably colder from the middle of the week, forecasts show.
On Tuesday, the temperature in most parts of the country will be from +22 Celsius to + 26 C, perhaps a little cooler on the coast, and the wind will remain slow, but from Wednesday southwesterly and westerly winds will increase, with coastal gusts of about 15 meters per second. Temperatures will drop with the coldest conditions this week expected on Thursday and Friday, when the temperature will reach only from +16 C to + 21 C.
During the working week, it will rain every day in at least part of Latvia, mostly short-term showers, though in places hail and thunderstorms are also possible.
Next weekend the weather should improve - on Saturday there may be scattered showers, but on Sunday the whole country should remain precipitation-free with temperatures of +20 C to + 25 C.
