At the weekend the wind will swing around to come from the north, bringing much cooler air into the region. The temperature in many places will drop a few degrees below zero at night, but during the day it will be in the range of 0 C to + 5 C.
However, as atmospheric pressure increases during the weekend, it is hoped that the sky will clear, bringing some sunshine and crisp conditions. No significant precipitation is expected, but fog and light frost will form.
