Week will get gradually cooler in Latvia

In the second half of this week, weather in Latvia will get cooler, according to forecasts by weatherman Toms Bricis.

Until Wednesday, localised rain is still expected, with mist at night and in the morning. Minimum air temperatures at night will be between +4 Celsius to +9 C, coastal up to +12 C, but during the day between +11 C to +16 C.

It will rain less in the second half of the week, days will be sunnier but nights colder - minimum temperatures mostly between +1 C and +6 C, coastal +7 C to +9 C. There will be frost at grass height. In the days the temperatures will be between +10 C to +15 C.

The astronomical autumn will begin on Friday, September 23, but the first day shorter than the night will be next Monday, September 26.
