On Friday night rain is expected in many places, with sleet in eastern districts, but no real snow likely to make things look more seasonally appropriate.
On Saturday the sky will be clear, with plenty of sunshine and no precipitation. Moderate winds will blow from the north and temperatures can be expected to remain in the range of -2 to +4 Celsius day and night.
Overnight from Saturday to Sunday the thermometer will dip just below freezing, perhaps as far as -3 C before rising again during Sunday to +2 C to + 7 C.
Southwesterly winds will gain in strength, with gusts of 12-17 meters per second inland and up to 20-23 meters per second along the coast.
Next week the weather will remain warm. The air temperature will be mostly in the range +1 C to + 8 C, with the only sub-zero temperatures likely inland during the night.
