Monday will be mostly cloudy, and mainly in the east, the clouds will bring short periods of rain and sleet. Although the effects of the cyclone will diminish during the day, localised thunderstorms with hail are also possible. The wind will be a slow to moderate southwesterly, on the coast it will also blow from the west, but in the evening the wind will subside.
In some parts of western Kurzeme, fog may form, so drivers should be careful, as the roads will also be slippery in places and visibility may be impaired. The air temperature during the day will warm up to + 6 Celsius to + 11 C.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, there will also be clouds in the sky, but precipitation is expected only on Tuesday. Wednesday will deliver an anticyclone over Latvia and the weather will be dry. There will be a slow wind on both days, so there will be fog in many places at night, which will remain in the morning. At night, the air temperature may dip as low as -3 C, but during the day, when the sun shines, the air will warm to + 12 C, though it will be cooler along the coast.
As the Easter holidays approach, the weather will start to change. A slow to moderate wind will blow, on Thursday and Friday Latvia will be crossed by a precipitation zone from the west, and in most parts of the country it will rain. However, Thursday will also be the warmest day next week and the thermometer could reach + 14 C in many places.
Friday will not see more than + 10 C, but at the weekend it will get even colder. According to current forecasts, it will not climb higher than + 7 C. There will also be light precipitation with patches of rain, wet snow and sleet.
