Named Treasures of Latvia, it gives interested parties the chance to explore some of Latvia's most interesting and export-friendly brands in the hope of cultivating and attracting future business links and trade.
"This is a story about outstanding brands that originated in Latvia and conquered the world," the site declares.
"Our aim is to tell about Latvia through our brands, exceptional people and inspiring places.''
It is the latest inititative from The Red Jackets movement, which for some years has already been talking up the country's export potential in innovative ways.
The new site was revealed at the annual export excellence forum and awards in central Riga on October 19. It is supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The ministry's parliamentary secretary, Zanda Kalnina-Lukševica said: "This digital platform is our gift to Latvia for its centenary. These are stories about 100 companies, the achievements, strengths and capabilities of the best-performing exporters in Latvia. Among them are both the major export stories that have emerged since the regaining of Latvia's independence, and relatively new companies that have shown their strength in recent years. Each of them has contributed to the image of Latvia."
