The most passengers – 53,632,498 – have been transported by bus. In 2023, 38,971,074 passengers were transported in trolleybuses, while in trams – 22,138,634 passengers. During the year, public transport has traveled 34,682,333 kilometers across the route network.
The data gathered show that, just as in 2022, the most tram passengers were carried on Route 1 in 2023, the most bus passengers on Route 3, while the highest number of trolleybus passengers was reached on Route 15.
Rīgas Satiksme provides 82 routes – six trams, 22 trolleybuses and 54 bus routes.
