In the summer of 2023, the accused posted advertisements on her social media platforms "Instagram" and "Facebook" for organizing children's camps and various entertainment events. The defendant concealed the information that she was not entitled to run camps for children and was aware that the service she offered would not be provided to the extent and quality offered and that the money paid would not be refunded in the event of refusal to participate.
The victims, having been misled and trusting the information provided by the defendant, transferred the agreed payment for the service to the bank account indicated by the defendant.
The defendant, under various fabricated pretexts, provided the services offered partially or not at all and used the funds for her own purposes.
The defendant also posted on her social media platforms information about the possibility of purchasing "Līvu Akvaparks" entrance tickets in her possession, although she did not have such entrance tickets in her possession. In these cases, the victims, being misled and trusting the information provided by the defendant, transferred the agreed payment for the tickets to the bank account indicated by the defendant, but did not receive them.
Taking into account that all the offenses committed by the defendant are classified as minor, the prosecutor and defendant agree on a guilty plea.
