Latvia denies another Belarus airspace violation claim

Take note – story published 2 years and 3 months ago

For the second time in three days, Latvia refuted a Belarusian claim that one of its aircraft had violated Belarus airspace.

As previously reported by LSM, Belarus border guards made a similar claim on February 8, which was rejected by the Latvian Armed Forces.

On February 10 it was the turn of the Latvian Interior Ministry to make a similar refutation. A border monitoring flight had taken place, but no violation occurred, the Interior Ministry said, supplying a diagram of the plane's flight path within Latvian territory.

Meanwhile the Lukashenko regime's human trafficking operation continues, with February 9 seeing 35 more people turned away at the EU's external border.
