More than 790 babies have been born within the state-sponsored infertility treatment program started in 2012, says the National Health Service.
As there's great interest in the program, Latvia has granted extra money for artificial insemination procedures. A total 627 are to be carried out this year, says the service.
To date, Latvia has spent about €5m on drugs and procedures within the program.
