Book on Latvian constitutional law now available in English

A key Latvian language legal volume "Constitutional Law" has now been published in English by official state publisher Latvijas Vēstnesis.

Jointly written by three authors – Jānis Pleps, Ilze Plakane and Edgars Pastars – in 2022, the work was translated into English, in order to give foreign readers an opportunity to familiarize themselves with Latvian constitutional law and the foundations of the state system.

Until now, the translation was only available in electronic format, but now "Constitutional Law" is published in print format, and from September can be purchased in the online store (juristavards.lv/veikals) as well as at selected bookstores.

The translation was carried out by Ingūna Beķere, while a separate foreword was written by Mārtiņš Paparinskis.

The online version of the 500-page tome can be found at: https://m.juristavards.lv/biblioteka/281804-constitutional-law/
