Knicks beat Spurs in Latvian duel

On Sunday the New York Knicks beat San Antonio Spurs with 94:90 in what was the first NBA game to date with two Latvian players on the court.

Porziņģis scored 16 points in 36:51 on the court, scoring three of five three-point shots, one of five two-pointers and all five free throws. 

Meanwhile Bertāns scored a three-pointer in 13:41 on court. 

Carmelo Anthony scored 25 points and Derrick Rose scored 18 for the Knicks.

The Spurs' Kawhi Leonard was the game's lead scorer with 36 points.

The next duel between the two teams with Latvian players will take place on March 27 in San Antonio.
