Rīga Airport unveils security line for passengers with children

A separate security line – a family line for passengers traveling with children under the age of seven – has been established at the Rīga International Airport at the beginning of this year, airport representative Ilze Salna said January 3.

The family line is located between the existing fast track, the use of which is a paid service, and the ordinary security track.

Travelers with children under the age of seven will be able to use it, as well as "Honor Family" card owners with children of any age or traveling without children, Salna noted. "Honor Family" cards are given by the state to multi-child families and families with disabled children.

Signage has been installed at the terminal showing the way to the new line arrangement.
