The Hungarian low-cost airline WizzAir has announced that it will serve a route to the resort city of Eilat in Israel.
Bi-weekly flights will be launched starting October 29 and will last until March 24, 2018.
Prices start at €34.99 for a one-way ticket.
Last year Wizz Air served a total of 476,200 passengers at Riga Airport, which was a 0.7% increase over 2015.
The Hungarian low-cost carrier has two airplanes at Riga Airport and employs 70 people.
