An extensive program of different events has been announced, and you will be able to watch some of them live on LSM.
"Without choral conductors, there would be no Song Festival! That’s why, in honor of the 150th anniversary of the Song Festival, a concert will take place in the Kokari Hall of the Silver Grove stage featuring choral conductors from the whole of Latvia, singing only the repertoire which they themselves have chosen.
"The concert will take place in two parts to show off the choral opuses of single-gender, double and mixed choirs, as well as marking a vision for the future of the Song Festival, with emerging conductors performing songs about love, because without a love for music, there would be neither a Song Festival nor a choral tradition," says the concert's description.
