On Wednesday, the Ukrainian President arrived in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius, and will travel further to Tallinn in Estonia. Zelenskyy will arrive in Riga on Thursday.

Zelenskyy is scheduled to meet with the President of Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs, Prime Minister Evika Siliņa, and Saeima Speaker Daiga Mieriņa (Union of Greens and Farmers).

The Latvian President's Chancellery noted that during Zelensky's visit bilateral cooperation between Latvia and Ukraine will be discussed, further support from Latvia and allies to Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression, as well as issues related to the Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine.

As President of Ukraine, this is Zelenskyy's second visit to Latvia; the first took place a few months after he took office in 2019.
