Latvian officials offer messages of support for Ukraine

Several of Latvia's senior officials took to social media February 24 with special video messages marking two years since Russia waged full-scale war with its invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022.

President Edgars Rinkēvičs led the way with a message directed to his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in which he promised more support "until victory".

Prime Minister Evika Siliņa struck a smilar note standing between two Ukrainian flags and wearing a scarf bearing the same colors.

Foreign Minister Krišjānis Kariņš also conributed a video segment.
