As a Member, I have been better able to defend the work of my industry, ministry, government and other ministers,” said Petraviča.
Her decision is reportedly not related to a previous request of the party KPV LV to assess the ability of the Minister to fulfil the duties of Saeima deputy.
The Minister already considered such a decision in December last year, according to Latvian Television.
