''The aim of the training is to improve the co-operation and resource interoperability of the involved National Armed Forces units and civil institutions,'' according to a statement from the Defense Ministry.
The training will also be supported by the Mi-17 helicopter and vehicles belonging to the NBS and other state institutions, during simulation training that the ministry said offers no health risk to the local population.
Consequently the organizers are telling the public not to be alarmed by the sight of troops and others on the move on land and in the skies in these areas not far from the eastern border.
