Saslimušajam ārstam sniegti ieteikumi tālākai rīcībai.
SPKC epidemiologists have contacted the management of Rezekne Hospital to make recommendations regarding the future operation of the hospital, and have identified people who might have come into contact with the doctor who must now go into quarantine.
Rezekne Hospital continues its operation and an epidemiological investigation is underway to track the source of the infection and identify any patients at risk.
The SPKC also provided an update on the age distribution and seriousness of the 244 confirmed COVID-19 cases identified so far. 16 patients are currently being treated in hospital.
