Rail Baltica forum takes place online

The Rail Baltica Online Forum for suppliers is taking place on 23 April to share the project’s progress and plans with suppliers, industry professionals and cooperation partners.

RB Rail representatives will a give detailed account about Rail Baltica upcoming procurements, including the strategic direction for construction works and tenders for materials and railway components, according to organizers.

While the in-person event of the Rail Baltica Global Forum has been moved to October 2020 due to the state of emergency, the Rail Baltica team has organised an online gathering to help the industry suppliers gain necessary information allowing to prepare for the up-coming procurements.

It started at 10:00 Rīga time and no previous registration is required, though you will need to provide an email address to watch the live stream. The working language of the event is English.

Latvian Transport Minister Tālis Linkaits kicked things off with an introductory speech in which he stressed the importance of the project.
