The threat color is "yellow", meaning "potentially dangerous", the second of the four levels of threat.
"Similar to the past days, thunderstorms are expected today. In the afternoon, storm clouds will begin to form in many places in Latvia, locally strong thunder showers, strong wind gusts of 15-19 m/s and even hail are expected," said the State Environment Geology and Meteorology Center (LVĢMC).
The warnings are expected to remain in place on Thursday and Friday, though the threat of storms is likely to diminish.
