Latvian theaters to perform at international festival
The “Postwest” intercultural theater festival has moved from the Berlin Theater to the digital environment: from 24 to 26 June, shows, show records, discussions and other cultural events will be online. Three projects from Latvia will also participate in the festival, said Gertrude Street Theater on June 17.
High profile team to take over at Dailes theater

The “Apollo Kino” movie theater will feature the Latvian premiere of British-born Parisian Director Andrew Desmond's fantasy thriller “The Sonata” on October 31. National theater award winners announced

Latvia's national theater award (Spēlmaņu nakts) winners were announced Wednesday, with Vladislavs Nastavševs' being awarded as best director for his Blood Wedding, which took the prize for best production.
