By established tradition, Daugavpils Mark Rothko Art Centre invites the public to come into Daugavpils Fortress in early June. Visitors are encouraged to let themselves be shrouded in darkness and get lost in the vast program of the Art Night to experience an array of intense impressions and emotions.
The night will also feature a selection of Swedish films and a stage performance of Jane Eyre. Ticket prices to the exhibition halls will be reduced, too. Read the full program at the official website.
The Rothko Center recently celebrated its fifth anniversary and is well worth the trip to Daugavpils.
