ABLV to lay off 300 employees next week

ABLV bank has started its 'self-liquidation' process and will lay off 300 employees next week, its CEO Ernests Bernis told the press February 27.

He said that the bank is laying off finance and marketing experts, among others.

The bank has more than 900 employees in total.

As reported, ABLV bank, having already described itself as being liquidated by order of the European Central Bank, on the evening of February 26 confirmed the process by voting to wind itself up.
