In the well-known Fifty Founders Battle, a high-intensity pitching contest, SUBmerge Baltic from Latvia won the 10,000 EUR TechChill community cash prize, Salesforge from Estonia brought home 150,000 EUR of syndicate funding from BADideas.fund (sic) and 100,000 EUR of funding from DEPO Ventures. FleetFox from Estonia won 75,000 EUR in funding from BADideas.fund (again, sic), and Silo Team from Sweden won a 250,000 EUR "investment opportunity" from Look AI Ventures.
Additional companies in the Fifty Founders Battle secured smaller prizes, though these include items like advertising credit and tuition rather than cash or financial investments.
This year the Fifty Founders Battle received 388 applications from 57 countries, a record amount. Organizers said the TechChill event as a whole was attended by more than 2,300 attendees from 40 countries, 250 investors, 600 startup representatives, more than 60 media representatives, and more than 100 speakers.

On top of attracting Fifty Founders Battle applications from the most countries ever, the community has come together to demonstrate its support for Ukraine, pool skills and resources in the defense tech industry, which is stronger than ever, as well as sharing insights on making the most of the opportunities presented by advancements in AI,” said Annija Mežgaile, CEO of TechChill.
Previous TechChill Fifty Founders Battle winners include Baltic success stories Infogr.am (sic), Nordigen, TrackDuck, Edurio, Anatomy Next, Precision Navigation Systems, Longenesis, and Vocal Image App.
