In order to improve driving conditions, 14 winter service technical units are involved in road maintenance work.
Difficult driving conditions on the main roads of the country:
• Daugavpils Highway (A6) from Pļaviņas to Nīcgale;
• Rezekne Highway (A12) from Jēkabpils to Varakļāni;
On regional roads around Tulsi.
Drivers should be particularly careful when choosing the driving speed appropriate to the road surface condition, said Latvian State Roads.
