Free public transport in Rīga at New Year

On December 31 and January 1, public transport in Rga (including tram, trolleybus, bus and minibus transport) will be available free of charge, and additional services will be provided on New Year's Eve to cater for revellers, municipal transport company Rīgas satiksme said December 27.

On December 31st and New Year's Day, the company's managed parking spaces will also be free of charge, with the exception of the underground parking lot at 5V K.Valdemara Street.

On December 31st and January 1st, public transport will run according to the regular holiday timetables.  

All customer service centers will be closed on December 31 and January 1.

Minibuses and express buses will run on a Sunday timetable on December 31st and January 1st. Passengers will be able to ride the minibuses (white and blue in color) for free on these days.
