Latvia's annual foreign and security policy yearbook was launched January 23 by Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics.

The 250-page tome contains a selection of essays by experts and academics identifying the main items on the foreign policy agenda with EU matters, Russia and developing trade links with the Far East to the fore.
The volume is produced by the Foreign Ministry in cooperation with the Latvian Institute of International Affairs (LIIA). whose director, Andris Sprūds, gave LSM an overview of the main trends for 2018.
